INFINITE reveals 30-second preview of Japanese “BTD”


Idol group INFINITE is readying to make waves in Japan with their debut single, “BTD“.
A 30-second preview was released through Amazon Japan, which quickly made its way onto YouTube, drawing excited fans and interested netizens in its wake.
“BTD” and its ‘scorpion dance’ has already impressed thousands of Japanese music fans, as their performance in the K-Pop All-Star Live in Niigata concert sparked some of the loudest cheers that night.
INFINITE will be dropping their debut single on November 19th. In the meantime, check out their preview and electrifying performance below:

Hoya introduces Jolie, INFINITE’s newest member


On November 1st, INFINITE’s Hoya gave fans a sneak peek into the show by revealing the new member of their family, Jolie. Hoya tweeted, “With Jolie!!! During the filming of ‘Birth of a Family’..hehe.”
The adorable puppy will be living with the members of INFINITE for the next 8 weeks until a permanent home for Jolie is found.

INFINITE’s Woohyun to leave ‘Immortal Song 2′


Woollim Entertainment has just revealed that INFINITE‘s Woohyun will be leaving Immortal Song 2.
They stated on November 1st, “He finished his last filming yesterday… He’s decided to leave due to INFINITE’s upcoming venture into Japan.”
Woohyun was up against a tough cast of talented vocalists, but he impressed viewers with his constant growth and improvements. Despite being the youngest member on the show as well as the only idol group member, he showed confidence and bright performances. He stated during an interview on the show, “Not just for Nam Woohyun alone, but for the rest of INFINITE, I need at least 1 win for a round.” He wish came true when he achieved his fist win for a round on last week’s episode of the show.
He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity he was given by tweeting earlier today, “I have learned and gained so much over the past 7 weeks. ‘Immortal Song’ fighting!!”




In addition to Woohyun leaving the show, it’s also been announced that 3 to 4 members of the cast will also be switched.
The production team stated, “The line-up is in the process of being finalized… After 2 weeks, you’ll see about about half the cast members switched.”
INFINITE will be heading over to Japan next week to start their preparations for their promotions in Japan.

INFINITE & APink to star on new animal variety show ‘Birth of a Family’



Although it was announced earlier that the show would be titled, ‘My Pet’, the name has since been changed to ‘Birth of a Family’.
The new show will document various idol groups taking care of abandoned animals for 8 weeks or so – until the animal is adopted by a new family. In addition, the show will also feature rare animals that are not commonly seen in the company of people. The show hopes to raise awareness about issues involving animal neglect. It hopes that by bringing in celebrities on the show to care after these animals, they may help increase awareness and capture the hearts of citizens. As the celebrities laugh and cry raising these animals, the show hopes to inspire citizens to take a deeper interest in abandoned and homeless animals.
MBLAQ and APink were announced as the first idol groups up to take part in the upcoming show. However, due to scheduling issues, MBLAQ has now been replaced by INFINITE.
INFINITE and APink will become the first idol groups to participate in the show emceed by BoomLee Hui Jae, and Kim Byung Man.  The first day of filming will start on November 1st, and the first episode will air on November 12th.

INFINITE wraps up domestic activities, prepares to take Japan + reveals dance practice for “PARADISE”



The boys of INFINITE wrapped up their promotions for their repackaged full-length album in Korea, putting on their last performance on SBS‘ Inkigayo on the 30th.
Their next plans are to focus completely on Japanese promotions for the time being, dominating with their trendy music and lethal dance moves.
A representative from INFINITE’s management team remarked, “The boys will be performing on stages in Japan for the remainder of the year. They will be a lot busier than the last time we were in Japan, being featured on more TV programs and holding many more fan meet and greets.
INFINITE who has made their mark in the K-pop scene only a year after debuting with songs like “Be Mine“, and “PARADISE” are now crossing over to take on the Japanese music industry by storm.
The boys will be performing their hit songs”Before the Dawn“, as well as “Can You Smile” which will be released on November 19th.
Member ‘L‘ is also featuring on a popular Japanese drama and has already built a good fan base which should only work to INFINITE’s advantage when they begin their promotions.

INFINITE and T-ara help out children with disabilities


On October 27th, Nongshim‘s Sharing Love Volunteer Association visited the ‘Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation’ to help children with disabilities.
The ‘Sharing Love Volunteer Association’ was joined by 40 volunteers, including popular idol groupsINFINITE and T-ara. In addition to a magic show and various games put on for the children, volunteers also presented the facility with 100 boxes of Nongshim’s Shin Ramyun.
The T-ara girls stated, “While spending time with the children as participants of the Sharing Love Volunteer Association, we learned that love becomes more beautiful when it’s expressed and shared with others.”
Nongshim will also be sponsoring a ‘Sharing Love Concert’ on November 6th, featuring artists such as SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls, T-ara, Teen Top, MBLAQ, Davichi, and Kim Hyun Joong.

INFINITE’s Sunggyu, Sungyeol, and Sungjong to fill in for Leeteuk and Eunhyuk on ‘Sukira’


Since Super Junior‘s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk are away for their ‘SM Town Live in New York‘ concert, INFINITE‘s SunggyuSungyeol, and Sungjong will be filling in their radio show, KBS FM‘s ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio‘.
The three members are known as the ‘Sung brothers’ amongst fans, and they possess great potential in variety shows. Fans are excited to hear how the boys will be interacting with one another and with guests for their week-long stint. Their temporary positions will run from October 24th through the 30th.
The members stated, “It’s our first time assuming the roles of radio DJs, but we’ll make sure to do our best in place of our Super Junior seniors.”

INFINITE’s L and Sungyeol work the runway for ’2012 S/S Seoul Fashion Week’

On October 22nd, INFINITE made an appearance at the 2012 S/S Seoul Fashion Week‘s black carpet in support of members L and Sungyeol for their participation in designer Jang Kwang Hyo‘s fashion show.
Held at the SETEC, the event has already seen the participation of numerous stars, making it the go-to location for star-sightings in Korea this week. The 22nd marks its last day, bringing 27 designers and 60 different fashion shows to a close.
